NCBR Touts Success of Postcard Campaign
Windsor, Colo. – A Red Rocket Media Group postcard campaign not only caught the eye of the people who received them, but also gained the attention of the Northern Colorado Business Report.
The six inch by nine inch postcards Red Rocket designed were sent out to 13,000 homes beginning in July of 2006 as part of a campaign to increase public awareness for Morning Fresh Dairy of Bellvue, Colo.
The Red Rocket team discussed several options, but decided on a series of seven postcards which introduced a different step the dairy follows during production. The first postcard covered the farm Morning Fresh uses to produce the cows’ food, and the last showed a family that was a client of the dairy.
“I wanted to introduce Morning Fresh to their clients on a personal level to create the small community dairy feel,” said Red Rocket’s creative director Amanda Ferri.
Another objective to the postcards was to distinguish Morning Fresh from other dairies and grocery stores by providing facts about the dairy. One such fact stated that milk deliveries were made in the afternoons, so the milk does not have to sit out all day until the customer returns home.
But, Morning Fresh Dairy got more than just the attention of the Northern Colorado homes that received the cards. NCBR covered the campaign in a September 1, 2006 article.
The increased attention was not only a boost for the dairy but was also a feather in the cap for Red Rocket.
“It was nice to get some exposure,” said Ferri.
Morning Fresh Dairy is a locally-owned dairy that has been in business since 1894. Red Rocket Media Group opened its doors in 1998 and provides marketing services to business across the country.
